Giving up chocolate has been easier than I thought. The first two days were tough. We have a chocolate cupboard in work and for the last three months it's been so easy to just pop down and grab a square here and there....and then another square or two...until I get to the point where I feel quite ill and I've a chocolate headache coming on. One piece is never enough.
But why am I doing this? I'm almost 28. I'm young. But I want to start creating good habits for myself that I can carry with me through life. That I suddenly realise at 65 that my body is falling apart for the only reason that I should have exercised more in my 20's.
Maybe I'm having a quarter life crisis.
Well anyway, I'm starting myself off on a journey to test myself, re-educate myself and change my life.

10 Days No Chocolate
It's been 10 days since I last ate chocolate. I read somewhere on Facebook that testing your will power every now and then can completely change your life. I forget the exact wording - but it was a silly 'inspirational quote of the day'. Except that it did in fact inspire me.
I didn't eat chocolate when I was younger. It gave me headaches. In the last few years I suddenly decided it's fine for me and wow have I made up for it! Chocolate up to my eyeballs.
So, here we are, long story short, starting a new blog about how I'm going to test myself. How refusing to eat chocolate to benefit my well-being will lead me on to make better choices in regards to my health, diet, exercise and general welfare. Maybe even lead me to be more productive, creative and entrepreneurial?
I don't know. That's my goal. So, let's see.
